Base-Isolation System is one of the most efficient scheme to protect buildings and houses from severe earthquake damage.
After Kanto-Earthquake in 1923, many base-isolation system have been proposed and patented in Japan.
In this research, we propose new base-isolation system, "Hybrid-Rocking-Column", and investigate its performance.
